About

Can Do Martial Arts was founded in 2004 by Ben Richardson and his wife Virginia.

Can Do Martial Arts has always been concerned with two things, making martial arts accessible to everyone, and ensuring that the highest level of tuition and positive student experience is always given.

Uniquely Can Do Martial Arts has always been first in developing and offering unique programmes. It was the first academy to offer Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Oxfordshire, it is also the only academy that offers and teaches Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do, and is the only JKS Shotokan Karate academy in the county too, ensuring direct learning from Japan.

Can Do Martial Arts is the only full-time dojo in Abingdon, and offers a variety of arts including our young children's KickStart programme, MMA and Training For Warriors Fitness.

There is always a free trial available for anyone wanting to try out our classes and get a feel for our amazing community.
